Privacy Policy

Nomadify ("we", "us") is an app that helps travelers meet people and join plans nearby. Nomadify is operated by Tribe Solutions LLC. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, who helps us process it and the choices you have.
What we collect

Who processes data for us
- Hetzner Online (Germany): our servers, database and photo storage.
- Cloudflare: network security and delivery of our website and API.
- Google Firebase: sign-in and push notifications.
- Google Maps: the map in the app.
- Amazon Web Services (Rekognition): checks the verification selfie and screens uploaded photos for explicit content. Images are processed, not kept by AWS for us.
- OpenAI: writes plan ideas from your area and interests. We send the place and interests, not your name or contact details.
- Foursquare: names of real places for plan ideas, from the area you are looking at.
- Open-Meteo: the weather card. The app sends the coordinates of the city you are in, nothing else.
- Superwall with Google Play and the App Store: the Plus subscription screen and subscription status.
We do not sell your data, we do not show ads and we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
What other travelers see
Signed-in travelers can see your profile (name, photos, age, bio, interests, languages, verified badge, home country, the city you are in and an approximate distance). Messages are visible only to the members of that chat. Your Instagram handle and direct messages follow the privacy settings you choose in the app. Your exact coordinates are never shown.
Safety
You can block and report people, plans and messages. Our team reviews every report and can hide or remove accounts and content that break our Terms. Uploaded photos are screened automatically.
How long we keep data
We keep your data while your account exists. When you delete your account, your profile, photos, trips, connections, ratings and sign-in are removed straight away. Messages you sent stay in the chat for the other members but are no longer linked to you. Copies in our database backups are overwritten within 30 days. Reports about you may be kept longer when we need them to protect other users.
Your choices and rights
- Location is optional. Without it, the map and nearby features are limited.
- Notifications are optional. Change them in the app or in your phone settings.
- Privacy settings in the app control distance, direct messages and your Instagram handle.
- Delete your account any time in the app: Settings, Delete account. You can also ask us by email; see how to delete your account.
- Access, correction and a copy of your data: email us and we answer within 30 days.
Age
Nomadify is only for adults aged 18 and over. We remove accounts of people under 18 when we learn about them.
